<Online> Kyoto-DAAD Partnership Programme : Introduction and Networking Session with Past Programme Awardees

 

-Wish for our future with international research network –

KURA’s 【間:AI DA】 team organizes online introduction and networking session on the new round of call for application of “DAAD-Kyoto University Partnership Programme” 2021-22, scheduled to be opened on mid. June. This event is for early career researchers (ECR). and Ph.D students who are highly motivated to carry out research in the international society, and encourage network with previous Kyoto-DAAD programme awardees.

The “DAAD-Kyoto University Partnership Programme” aims to foster academic exchange and co-operation between institutions of higher education and research institutions in Germany and Kyoto University in order to promote joint research projects and scientific collaboration in any field connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through funding to increase the mobility of junior scholars and ECRs. The objective is to strengthen or initiate long-term bilateral or multilateral collaborative research and partnerships among German universities / research institutions and Kyoto University.

At the first part of this online introduction and networking session KURA’s 【間:AI DA】 staff offers guideline of Kyoto-DAAD Partnership programme and its application process in 2021-22. DAAD Tokyo office staff provides funding opportunities for the research with German academic institutions. The previous Kyoto-DAAD partnership awardees report their activities and experience of research in Germany.

At the second part (optional), the participants are expected to divided into several groups (URA, DAAD, and past program awardees) and enjoy individual consultation and networking.

Target: Any researchers and Ph.D students affiliated with Kyoto University, and those who are interested in international research collaboration (especially with academic institutions in Germany).

Format: Online session using Zoom service
