[Online] DAAD – Kyoto University Partnership Programme: Information and Networking Session with Past Awardees

– Wishing for building an international research network for the future –

 

Overview

Kyoto University Research Administration Office (KURA)’s [AI DA] team will organize an online information and networking session on the new call for applications for “DAAD-Kyoto University Partnership Programme 2023-2024” (Application Deadline: 15th September 2022). This event is targeted for early career researchers (ECRs) including Ph.D. students who are highly motivated to carry out research in the international society.

The “DAAD-Kyoto University Partnership Programme” aims to foster academic exchange and co-operation between institutions of higher education and research institutions in Germany and Kyoto University in order to promote joint research projects and scientific collaboration in any field connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through funding to increase the mobility of ECRs. The objective is to strengthen or initiate long-term bilateral or multilateral collaborative research and partnerships among German universities / research institutions and Kyoto University.

In this online session, KURA’s [AI DA] team will provide guideline on Kyoto-DAAD Partnership Programme and the application process in 2023-24. Then, the past Kyoto-DAAD Programme awardee will present their research activities and experience in Germany. Finally, the participants will have an opportunity to network with the past awardee and staff of DAAD Tokyo and Kyoto University.

Target: Any researchers and Ph.D. students affiliated with Kyoto University and those who are interested in international research collaboration (especially with academic institutions in Germany).
