（終了しました）【参加者募集】Call-out for the RENKEI Researcher Online Workshop(Part2)

本学が加盟するRENKEI(日英産学連携プログラム)では、昨年12月10日(木)にClimate Change（気候変動）に関する第1回研究者ワークショップを開催し、
続けて第2回ワークショップを1月18日(月)に開催することとなりました。

本ワークショップは参加無料となっておりますので、興味・関心のある方は参加登録を行ってください。
どなたでも参加可能ですが、今回のワークショップではグループ討論が中心となり、以下の３つのテーマに分かれて議論を行います。

1) Low carbon societies and green infrastructure
2) Future risks and adaptation in floods and water shortage, food production and security, and ecosystems
3) UK-Japan collaborations for university action on climate change

【RENKEI Researcher Online Workshop “Expanding Japan-UK Research Collaborations in Climate Change”】

2018年に東京で、2019年にニューキャッスルで行われた気候変動に関するワークショップは、連携校における研究者同士の相互理解を深め、活発な研究協力を主導しました。今回開催されるワークショップでは、それらをさらに発展させ、新たなコラボレーションを築き上げることを目的とし、以下の3つの主な成果と6つの気候変動におけるサブテーマに焦点を定めて取り組みます。

予定される成果：

・気候研究と専門知識の共有
・各機関が自ら設定している気候関連の政策と目標の比較
・新規共同プロジェクトと研究の特定

サブテーマ：

·   Low carbon societies and green infrastructure
·   Future risks and adaptation in floods and water shortage
·   Future risks and adaptation in food production and security
·   Managing future risks and building resilience in urban areas
·   Future risks and adaptation in ecosystems
·   Future risks and adaptation in human health
