[Internal Use Only] Call for Applications for SP+ Fund 2026 (Deadline: mid-April 2026)

Kyoto University researchers can now apply for the SP+ Fund. This internal fund supports collaborative exchanges with Kyoto University’s Strategic Partner (SP) universities: University of Bordeaux, University of Vienna, University of Zurich, Universität Hamburg, and National Taiwan University.

The fund offers two programs:

• General Program – supports expenses related to international collaborative research projects, such as workshops and seminars conducted jointly with SP universities.
• ECR Program – supports travel expenses for dispatching or inviting Early‑Career Researchers (ECRs) for research, surveys, etc.

The General Program can also be used for multilateral exchanges involving other universities, including SP universities.

Please check the application guidelines before applying and confirm the submission deadline with your faculty/department’s administrative office.

The Kyoto University European Center supports finding research collaborators at the partner institution in Europe (matching support).
