HeKKSaGOn x L-INSIGHT Spin-off Programme “Dialogues for Future Research and Science with Early Career Researchers” took place on 8 and 9 December 2025. This year six L-INSIGHT Fellows from Kyoto participated. This time, we aimed for more intensive bilateral researcher exchanges based on their research fields of interest, and some of the fellows traveled further to visit Heidelberg University.
In addition to our usual research exchanges, we have invited two lecturers from Heidelberg University to conduct a workshop titled “Make them listen! – How to capture the attention of your audience”. In this workshop, the Fellows learned how to properly posture themselves, timing techniques for presenting and others while physically engaging. The session concluded with fellows practicing their learning by delivering two-minutes’ pitch talks about their own research.
The European Center contributed by coordinating with German partners and planning the newly initiated workshop.
