The Kyoto University manages the research centers in Heidelberg (Germany) and in London (UK).
The primary functions of the Kyoto University European Center Heidelberg office are to support the university’s research and education activities in Europe, promote the internationalization of faculty and students, and enhance the university’s international public relations, industry-government-academia collaboration, and international networks. The office will also serve as a contact point for the Japanese members of the German-Japanese HeKKSaGOn University Consortium.
European Representative Office in London promotes the university’s industry-academia collaboration activities. The main function of the representative office will be to act as a base for the planning and undertaking of international collaboration activities with leading universities and companies of the UK and other European countries.
