We are pleased to announce the 2026 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars
Program, a summer undergraduate research initiative in life sciences and
biotechnology supported by the Amgen Foundation. This eight-week program
will run from June 5 to August 6, 2026
Applications are now open and will close at 3:00 PM (JST, UTC+9) on
February 1, 2026.
We kindly ask for your support in sharing this opportunity with your
undergraduate students and faculty through your website, social media
platforms, email, or other communication channels.
Program Highlights:
– Approximately 10 places available for undergraduate students from
colleges and universities across Asia
– Comprehensive financial support, including a round-trip flight,
accommodation, and a scholarship
– Hands-on laboratory experience to develop research skills and knowledge
– Opportunities to network with fellow students and professionals as well
as gain valuable insight into graduate student life
– Additional activities, such as workshops, cultural events, and a
three-day Asia Symposium in Tokyo
