Kyoto University ASEAN Center members participated in the series of meetings to commemorate 50 th year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation from 10th to 12th May 2023 in Bangkok organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Thailand.
The event is in conjunction with an expert group meeting on ASEAN Talent Mobility, and JASITP delegates from Japan and ASEAN partner institutes (about 45 people in total from all ASEAN member states) first discussed how to develop a mobility program further.
JASTIP workshop on 12th May welcomed distinguished speakers and more general participants (onsite about 60, online 60) to share our activities to facilitate Science, Technology, and Innovation. There was an active discussion to update our progress during/after the pandemic.
