The Japan Education fair at Khon Kean and Udornthani province, Thailand

On November 16th – 18th, 2015, Kyoto University ASEAN Center joined The Japan Education fair in Khon Kean and Udornthani province with Japan Embassy, other Japan Universities and Organizations such as Fukui University and Technology, Tokyo Technology University, Tokai University, Nagoya University, JSPS and also JASSO. The purpose of this fair is to promote Japan Universities and Organizations for young Thai students who intend to study in Japan.

On 17th November, morning, Professor Supachai Pathumnukul, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer Affairs and the boards from Khon Kean University, had a warm welcomed to us. We were discussion on collaboration about the student exchange, funds and scholarships to improve the quality of Thai education.

In the afternoon, The faculty of Education, Khon Kean University, and Japan Embassy held “The 16th Japan education fair” which co-organize with Japan Universities and Organizations. Many Thai students such as junior high school, high school and university who interest to study in Japan joined this education fair. The atmosphere was full of energetic from the audiences.


On 18th November, Japan Embassy, Japan Universities and Japan Organizations visited to Bandung Wittaya School and Udon Thani Rajabhat University. We had a fruitful time to disseminate the knowledge and information in academic fields.

For this opportunity, we were delighted to visit and exchange knowledge and experience not only technical but also non-technical information.
