On 7 September 2022, Kyoto University ASEAN Center facilitated the representative from Kyoto iUP team, Mr. Takuya Tanaka , to visit and present the Kyoto iUP program for the academic year 2023 to KVIS’s students at Rayong, Thailand.

We were welcomed warmly by Assoc. Prof. Boonchoat Paosawatyanyong, Principal of Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS), and KVIS’s team by inviting us to join the school tour. Later, we had a discussion about the academic activities of KVIS and Kyoto University.
In the afternoon session, Mr. Takuya Tanaka introduced the Kyoto iUP to the students and Prof. Eiji Nawata, Director of Kyoto University ASEAN Center presented a trial lecture “Present status and future prospect of world crop production and contribution of tropical area” to the students. The presentations gained lots of interest during the session
