“The 22nd Kyoto University Southeast Asia Forum” and “The 4th Kyoto University Asian Network Forum” at Bangkok

On 5th, March 2016, Kyoto University, Kyoto Union Club (KUC) and Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) organized “The 22nd Kyoto University Southeast Asia Forum” and “The 4th Kyoto University Asian Network Forum” at Centara Grand, Central World Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

This forum, titled “Energy Policy and Economic Challenges: Perspectives from Thailand and Japan” which provided opportunities for students, researcher and business owner to improve the energy and economics efficiency and understand the research activities. 160 participated from Thai universities, private company and more.

For the morning session, Ambassador Shiro Sadoshima, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Thailand, Dr. Taweesak Koananthakul, President of NSTDA, and more lectured about the current energy technology circumstance in Thailand.

For the afternoon session, mentioned about Thai – Japan Cooperation beyond the generations. This forum stated the experience while studied in abroad lectured by Thai and Japanese researchers. These will bring some inspiration to Thai student who want to study in oversea. We expected to contribute to the continuation of knowledge exchange between Thailand and Japan to improve the quality research and enhance these benefit to the country.
