Co-organized the16th Southeast Asia Network forum, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

On 12 September 2022, Kyoto University ASEAN Center and Kyoto University and its alumni associations in Cambodia and Indonesia co-organized the “16th Southeast Asia Network forum” with the theme of “Carbon Neutral Urban Design and Manufacturing” in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The forum began with Prof. Kyoko Inagaki, Executive Vice-President for Gender Equality, International Affairs, and External Affairs, Kyoto University, delivering the opening remarks for the forum and followed by the VIP guests delivering greeting messages.
At the panel session, Prof. Eiji Nawata, director of Kyoto University ASAEN Center, was a moderator and discussed trough the title “Carbon Neutral Urban Design and Manufacturing.
   
The forum aimed to share and discuss the circumstance of carbon neutrality in ASEAN region especially in manufacturing these days and the solution for the future.
There were several representatives from different organizations and sectors around 50 participants attended the forum including Cambodian and Indonesian Alumni.
 
Afterward, we had closed meetings with alumni in Cambodia and Indonesia.
