Experience Japan Exhibition (EJE) 2018（11/17・London）

On November 17, the Kyoto University European Center participated in the Experience Japan Exhibition (EJE) 2018 study abroad fair at the Royal Society in London. We introduced Kyoto as a historic and innovative city and Kyoto University as an attractive destination for ambitious students and researchers, because of its unique research environment and possibilities, which led to 10 Nobel Prizes for Kyoto University researchers.

Information Session for Exchange Students going to Kyoto 2018 (July 10, Heidelberg)

The Kyoto University European Center held an Information Session for Exchange Students on 10 July 2018 at Heidelberg University. The session is organised annually in July for students who are planning to study in Kyoto University or who are interested in studying in Japan. Seventeen students from the German-Japanese HeKKSaGOn, which includes Heidelberg University and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as well as University of Göttingen, joined this event.[Read more]

The Kyoto University European Center was invited by Bonn University to provide information on studying abroad at its annual student exchange fair.

4th Kyoto Day（Kyoto Tag）（12/16・Cologne）

The “Kyoto Tag” is an event hosted by the Japanese General Consulate Düsseldorf, the Cologne Center for Japanese Culture and the German-Japanese Society Cologne. In the midst of displays of Kyoto culture, we presented Kyoto University’s education and research at our booth .

Experience Japan Exhibition（11/18・London）

The Kyoto University European Center was present at Experience Japan Exhibition in London with it own booth. Over 550 people including students from British universities, Japanese high school students living in London as well as company employees wishing to attain Japanese language skills attended this event.

Kyoto University European Center provided basic information on living and studying in Japan, ranging from administrative affairs to matters of daily life to exchange students going to go to Kyoto University. Coordinator Ms. Sabine Schenk from the Heidelberg University Office in Kyoto also provided information on their support.

Heidelberg office participated in “Studium in Japan (Study in Japan) ” in Freiburg on May 9th, 2017. Experience Japan Exhibition 2015 (London)

The event provided Kyoto University European Center the opportuny to disseminate information about studying abroad in Japan to students from Great Britain and neighboring countries. The event was a great success with over 100 pupils visiting the Kyoto University European Center booth and the venue crowded with attendees filled with enthusiasm.
